Well, a few weeks back, getting my blog posts indexed was easier but now it seems like it is getting harder as I see a few of my recent posts not indexed by Google yet. I was thinking there must be some problem with my site but when I saw many people complaining about similar problems in forums, then I thought it’s a problem from big G’s side.

Anyway, I will try to find more ways to promote by blogs and my blog articles. I am going to submit my blogs to social networking sites see the outcome. But meanwhile, let’s hope it gets better and not harder.

I am working my way to spend a good deal of time on affiliate marketing and today I realize something very crucial to affiliate marketing. Though I have heard many people saying about this on many occasions, but today I realize it from my own affiliate stats. A few weeks ago, I bought some traffic from a person and I was till now getting good amount of hits on one of my dating affiliate page. I then analyze the referrers of this website and I found that the main referrer is Google.com, followed by Google.co.uk and MSN in the third position. All the traffic is from search engines and the site rank 28th for a very strong dating keyword. So, I realize today that, I can indeed achieve high conversion rate. What I need is good quality traffic and not just huge number of hits!

I was shocked when I checked the backlinks of some of my sites just a few minutes ago! When I typed in link:bonyuts.com in Google.com and check the backlinks for my personal blog, it showed 0 result! Seemed to me like the big G has removed all the backlinks and I was worried what was going on. I tried to figure that out by searching many online webmasters forum for recent threads on Google backlinks and found out that many people are facing the same problem. Well, I was a bit relief. Seems like the big G is updating it backlinks records or maybe they are changing their backlinking algorithm?

Anyway, hope everything will be up fine soon and hope everything will turn out for the best. Last time when the big G updated their datacenters, such cases were seen on my blogs; but at the end when the update was over, I got PR4 on some of my blogs. Maybe this time I will reach PR5 and if that becomes a truth, a treat is sure due from my side!

I heard the big G is going to update it datacenters soon for assigning new PageRank to various website. Well, the last PageRank update was about 3 months back and I got some really good results that time. Many of sites got PR, ranging from PR1 to PR4. My personal blog, Bonyuttams got a PR4 while other websites got mostly PR3.

I am hoping that this update will make at least some of my sites to PR5. But it’s quite a known fact that PR5 and more is not very easy to attain unless your site has got lot of links. But I am working on some of sites and the link popularity has increased to a big number. I sure hope that this time, it should go up to PR5 at least.

Anyway, many people started neglecting PR these days. Some of these people are more on traffic of the website. But still, many people think PR is a very important factor while deciding the quality of a website. So, have to do some home work now to increase the backlinks!
