I and my partner just finished coding a spell check application in Java. We have used swing and JDBC for the same and I am really excited with the end result we have got. We were given 4 days to code and one day to test and debug. As expected, there were many small bugs in the code and one day was not even enough to debug the complete application. Anyhow we completed the application and now it’s ready to function.

Some of the errors were very simple while some took a lot of time in finding the source of the problem. In one case, we were getting redundant words when we click on spell check button. We spent like 3 hours trying to find the logical error which was causing the problem. And know what, it was caused due to some redundant entries in the database itself. That was one of the silliest mistake we made in the course of our development. I will now start working on internet application and I will posting them here as soon as I complete one.
